    soooo, the pirate ship accidentally rams into the ss bubble and it’s next course of action is to ram it some more in a repetative loop? i’m not sure the insurance covers that.

      If something goes ricocheting off at a crazy speed, what do you do? Slow it down. How? Repeated impacts. ^w^ Kind of like the loops on a roller-coaster save you from too many gees at once.

    It occurs to me that without a highly sophisticated Reaction Control System, you could not barrel roll in space.
    It also occurs to me that barrel rolling would be absolutely useless in space combat.
