          Overthink Continued: The OP is referring to Boris in the image, who we can note looks female. So, right now, Boris is both technically female and physically female. For this filler at least, Boris is a ‘she’.

            Actually, when you are referring to a transgendered person, it would still be their selected gender. Looks don’t matter, physique doesn’t matter. Boris thinks he is male. Boris wants to be male. Boris is male in spirit. Basically, just view this filler as a gender-bender for Boris. Granted he is female in actuality, but it’s his view that matters, so to show -Proper Respect- to Boris, you refer to him as a “He.” You may call him female and note him as such, but it is nice and unoffensive to understand and view him as male.

            on a technicality the only reason boris prefers male(that i know of) is that he was raised male, it’s what he’s used to, comfortable with and all he has ever known, i don’t think he ever real got the option to decide on one or the other. doesn’t change that he identifies male.

            Screw that, this is a webcomic, not real life, I respect the gender issue as stated, but this is a webcomic and to be honest, Boris she state whether or not he/she WANTS to be referred to as a male or a female and seeing as to how Boris was raised a male, I honestly do not see him as a transgender person………..so he can change form……so what, I simply go by the name and most used look…..thus I call Boris a male, but if Boris were to start being female….I would begin calling him as such……….keep real life and webcomic gender issue as they should be…….one as real life and one as a fantasy based webcomic…..ok? Reading arguments like this in the comment section kinda ruin the fun of reading tie comic…..so if we can stop the bickering and arguing at this comment, I am sure many other viewers feel the same as I do…..only they chose to stay silent

            In all actuality this is something that happens in web-comics as well as real life… so in fact stating to keep them separate is like screaming at a brick wall to move, understanding cross dressing (and yes this is the case) most would like to be called by the gender they dress like. Not by their actual gender. But I agree 100% with you, if Boris started dressing feminine and acting such. I would say “she” not he.

    On artist block, sometime you have to let the voice in your head speak and get it out of your system before it will quiet down enough to allow the rest of your writing to flow. Heck check out the Silmarillion some time. Tolkein had LOTS of throw away writings that provided side stories and back ground info and wrong continuities all while writing a masterpiece. If a master author can get distracted then all writers are entitled to their own writing diversions.
    As for the picture it’s a cute stroll into…what if. Surpirisingly cute. With a chuckle as to how.
