    • Parry

      I believe it will.

  • Yageira

Ive got to wonder where the button came from, how she haplened to be close to it and just how many ships are equiped with that function.

    • NixieSeal

      Protagonist’s luck!

Well…F! And who is the only person with a well “known” (as in, well used and experienced) form made for aquatic environs? Anyone who fights Merry planet-side is going to suffer. I’d sort of worry, if I were Merry, whether her body will force her to give birth, even if the biome can’t support her species’ reproductive style. And would that render her “safe,” since her species is supposed to birth, and then get eaten, if she does and manages to get back off planet?

This reminds me of a filler from Nixie’s hiatus

  • RocketT.Coyote

    Anchors aweigh!

awesome use of the electro-poon (harpoon, not …) also, they should be glad it’s a large gaping hole in the ship and not one the size of a golfball, i hear it’s painful to exit the ship from one of those.

    • That Joel Guy

Or so we were taught in one of the Alien movies. :( poor little guy…

      • http://www.facebook.com/jack.winberry Jack Winberry

there was also that scene from jason x where that girl got sucked out into space through a grate from the floor that covered the hole.

  • Etroll78

am I the only one who is reminded of that scene from that star trek movie? FIRE THE RED MATTER!!!

  • Smallfoot

I said ‘across her nose’, not up it!

  • Vixen

    Suddenly: It’s not water

  • RedDwarfIV

Kraken: Delta winged, sleek, but lacks a snub nose to send the air away from the wings at hypersonic speeds, the likely outcome being intense if not fatal structural damage.
Bubbles: Under normal conditions, I’d say the Bubbles would make atmospheric entry in a similar fashion to a space capsule, using its underside as a heatshield. But the hull’s damaged, the main window is missing, and it’s attached to a larger spacecraft [preventing maneuvering to a safe entry angle].
Conclusion: Neither spacecraft will survive the next page.
Notes: Both spacecraft will survive the next page because this is a comic which I am overanalysing.

  • Falingtrea

You know what this remnds me of??
Narrator: How can he possibly resist the maddening urge to erradicate history at the mere push of a single button? The beautiful, shiny button? The jolly, candy-like button? Will he hold out, folks? Can he hold out?
    Stimpy: No I can’t! Yeagh!

That has gone through my mind so many times in the last few months. You don’t even wanna know. And technically, I DO have the power to eraaaaase this future of this comic as of tomorrow’s page! MWAHAHAHA- er…. I mean.. uh…
