News regarding the update schedule: Anthronauts is NOT going on hiatus again. Instead, I am going to simply update when I have had time to make a satisfactory page. Trying to produce one page per week has forced me to severely lower the quality of my pages. As many of you may know, I have formatted Anthronauts from the beginning with the intent of getting it printed. Making all these low-quality pages means that, if I want to get Anthronauts printed, I’ll have to re-make a lot of them. I may be able to pump out pages on a schedule, but if I have to redo them, it’s taking more time in the long run.

What was Mandy up to…?

The popular vote was for seeing more backstory for Mandy and Perrin. Sooo… prepare your brains for imminent backstory!

Hiatus over, hopefully! Sorry, earlier pages haven’t been cleaned up.

I bet I know what you’re thinking. “But Nixie, you have a hard enough time keeping ONE webcomic running! How are you going to update both Anthronauts and Fungus Farm?” Well… Fungus Farm is going to go through a few changes. Changes which will mean faster responses to messages. From now on, Tuesday will be filled with sketches responding to FF messages. As many as I can draw in a day! Spectacular or important scenes will be fully rendered in nice color graphics, while the rest will be black and white. I may even livestream, so follow the Fungus Farm twitter for updates!

I think someone took a wrong turn in the last wormhole, because something seems out of place here! But don’t worry. Even if the Fabric of Existence has been altered, you can be sure there’s plenty of ‘GLORP!’ for everyone in this universe!

That’s right. Comics are still on hold, but I’ll be posting sketches in response to messages sent by readers. Sorry about the continued hiatus.

Important Announcement!

Anthronauts will be going on hiatus while Nixie fixes earlier pages. Page 106 marked the end of Volume 1- which may eventually be released in print.

In the meantime, Nixie is also starting a new comic series called Fungus Farm!

SAFE Farm, a space colony designed to produce food, is beset upon by a dangerous alien fungus. The farm workers- Chess, Dice, and many others- all have different ideas of how to deal with the problem.

And that is where YOU come in! After the first four pages, readers like you can respond to SAFE’s distress signal! While you can’t personally fly a spaceship over, you can send messages directly to the characters; you can ask questions, give advice, and many other things. This will direct the events of the comic. More details on this will be released when we hit the 4-page mark and SAFE’s distress signal is sent out.
